Argentine Tango is often described as a very sexy Dance and those who do this Dance are credited with, "Having Mastered The Argentine Tango !"

But, Alas, . . . This is not true . . .  It really is not a sexy dance at all . . . and, further more . . . No one masters this Dance . . . It masters you!

Argentine Tango allows us to enter it's mysterious and passionate realm so that we may pursue that, . . . meaning Love, . . . which eludes us as surely as does the elusive ButterFly, which we pursue in our garden.

It immerses us in a liquid warmth that replaces the bitter taste of dissapointments that we have all felt as we have walked along the pathway of Life.

It allows those of us who participate, . . . the luxury of feeling all of our senses heightened as we experience, . . .

"A Love that has been lost" . . . or . . . "A Love that has not yet been found"

Argentine Tango is like a contrived Love Affair between two people, lasting but, perhaps only 3, 4, or 5 minutes, . . .during which time, the mind and the body conspire to feel the warmth and exhileration of passion and sensuality as bodies meet and intertwine,  . . . and eyes search deeply into each other, hoping to find and connect with that, . . . which has no name and they cannot describe.  The two dancers speak silent words of an unspoken language . . .and yet . . . just as powerfully, they feel the overwhelming sadness knowing that soon, this Tango will end . . . and once again, like the meloncholic cry of the bandoneon, the fascinating instrument which is the voice of Tango music,  their hearts and souls wil cry out for Love . . . and they will, once again, find themselves, . . . alone.  Their only hope is that soon the strains of another Tango will fill their ears, allowing them to get closer to the flame, . . . once more, before it consumes them, as it surely will.

Those of us who have allowed this Dance to caress our very souls with the hope of finding Love, even though it may be fleeting in time spent with us, it is a hunger that we cannot escape and a longing that cannot be denied.

So, . . . Maestro, . . . Another Tango, if you please . . .

Once again, we will use the dance floor as a palette, our feet, guided by deep emotions, like brushes with which, we will paint another picture of Romance and Passion along this Boulevard of Broken Dreams, hoping one day, our dream will not be broken and we will dance Tango with this Partner . . . forever. . . . .
